If you’re a beginner, intimidated by my classes, or haven’t danced in a while, this is the event for you!

For my advanced dancers, I highly encourage you to still attend these classes unless you feel you absolutely excel at technique & retaining choreography.

The Classes

Curated for your benefit, each class compliments the next.

  • CLASS 1:

    Jazz Fundamentals

    A fan favorite, this class is now a mainstay.

    Let’s lay the foundation of strong technique. It’s the #1 thing missing from both hobbyists and professionals alike.

  • CLASS 2:

    How to Retain Choreography.

    This class is a game-changer!

    It will help you in all future classes you take, regardless of the style or level of the choreography. We’ll focus on different tools each month.

  • CLASS 3:

    New Routine

    Use what you learn in the 1st two classes to get the most out of the new routine.

    It is not mandatory to take all 3 classes, but it is highly encouraged.

What’s new in all classes:

  • Monthly events to give you consistency. If you are traveling to L.A. for the event, you can plan in advance!

  • Lower capacity

  • More time taken to give corrections and break down elements as needed.

  • Themed seasons - 3 months make up a season & we focus on a single topic.

  • New location: Mihran K Studios Noho

The Schedule

Theme: PERFORMANCE, Part 1

The first season of Night of Dance was 'Back to Basics' where we focused on execution and how to properly approach learning choreography. Building upon that foundation, the new theme for October, November and December is “Performance: Part 1”!

There are many facets to performance. In Part 1, our focus will be on commercial dance performance. How do you look cool, sexy & confident doing commercial dance? Jazz Funk? Hip Hop? Heels?

Whereas 'Back to Basics' focused on the technical aspects of dance, 'Performance' will focus on the feel, energy, facial expressions, vibe & audience appeal. Galen is a master at teaching these elements and is excited to dive in with you!
