The GHMAs are a mock version of the VMAs put on by alumni of THE GALEN HOOKS METHOD!
This brand new project was conceived in the spirit of mentoring aspiring Creative Directors and providing a fulfilling project for alumni to take part in while the industry gets back on its feet.
GHM Alumni chose from a list of songs that are nominated for the 2020 VMA’s and submitted creative treatments for those performances as if they are Creative Directors.
8 finalists pitched their treatments via IG Live and the public voted on the top 3 they wanted to see be brought to life!
The 3 treatments that were chosen were from the following Creatives: Jamila Glass (Los Angeles), Lucie Camelo (London) and Romonica Stephens (Los Angeles).
The Creatives then enlisted GHM Alumni to be cast and crew and had 4-6 days to execute their visions with mentorship from Galen Hooks and Amanda Balen!
